You'll shape the future of greener mobility by managing the resources, activities, and deliverables for electrical traction and/or green energy supply design projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (engineering, manufacturing, sourcing), ensure adherence to QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining mechanical architecture considering various technical factors, and validating design deliverables, but also participate in technical discussions with suppliers and lead design reviews.
We’ll look to you for:
Gathering and managing inputs required by the Traction Design team on time and in full
Functionally managing the Traction Design team throughout the development phase
Ensuring the technical solutions applied are aligned with product requirements
Preparing and leading design reviews, and managing related open item lists
Monitoring and sustaining engineering planning and deliverables
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues
Validating design choices through simulations, mock-ups, or testing
Supporting sourcing, industrialization, and manufacturing during production ramp-up
