Functional Tester (H/F)

We are looking for a Functional Tester to join a Test Factory environment, contributing to quality assurance across multiple projects. This role focuses on functional validation, test design, and quality processes, working closely with development and automation teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate has strong experience in manual and exploratory testing, understands modern testing practices, and collaborates effectively within Agile and DevOps environments. Key Responsibilities Functional Testing & Quality Assurance Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases and test scenarios Perform manual and exploratory testing for new features and system enhancements Validate business requirements and acceptance criteria Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools Ensure complete functional coverage of applications and APIs Participate in test planning, test execution, and test reporting Collaboration & Agile Delivery Work closely with developers, product owners, and automation engineers Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Refinement, Retrospectives) Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes Support the definition of test strategies and quality standards Quality & Test Management Maintain and update test documentation and test evidence Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects Support regression testing cycles and release validation Contribute to improving testing practices within the Test Factory Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in manual testing and test case design Experience testing web applications and APIs Solid understanding of software testing methodologies Experience working in Agile environments Familiarity with defect management and test management tools Nice to Have Basic knowledge of test automation concepts Familiarity with CI/CD environments Understanding of API testing tools (Postman, similar) Hybrid work model – 2/3 days on-site in Lisbon
