Work with major players in the wireless industry such as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Qualcomm, etc. and be a part of cutting-edge technology advances such as Automation, AI/ML, Cloud-native and 5G technology.
Forsk is looking for a Software QA & Test Automation Engineer to join its Naos Custom Development team in its Chicago office. Main responsibilities will be:
• Design, implement, and optimize test plans for custom solutions built on Naos REST APIs
• Develop automated test suites, ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency
• Analyze functional and technical specifications to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities for custom Naos-based solutions
• Drive best-in-class QA practices, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement within the Custom Development team
• Contribute to the evolution of our QA processes, frameworks, and tooling, advocating for increased automation and robustness
• Collaborate closely with our Development team located at Forsk France to ensure seamless integration of quality into the development lifecycle.
The following languages, tools, and technologies are used within our technical environment (mix of Windows & Linux environments):
• Testing & Validation: PyTest, Grafana K6, Insomnia, Bruno, Postman
• Languages & IDE: Python (with strong emphasis on REST APIs), Bash/PowerShell, Microsoft Visual Studio Code
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes & K9s
• Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB
• Message Brokers: RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.
• Observability & Monitoring: Elastic Stack & Grafana
• CI/CD & Source Control: Azure DevOps, GitLab & GitHub.
Following skills are a plus:Public Cloud services (AWS, GCP or Azure)
The position is based in a desirable downtown Chicago, IL location. As part of the initial training on Forsk’s development stack, the candidate will spend the first 2 months in Forsk’s headquarters (Toulouse, France).
