As part of our continued growth in Portugal, we are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to manage the full recruitment and talent lifecycle for engineering and technology profiles.
Your Role
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager and the Portugal Managing Director, you will act as a key strategic recruitment partner, contributing directly to business growth by attracting and developing top talent. You will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding and long-term talent management, ensuring a seamless and engaging employee journey.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Recruitment
Act as the primary recruitment contact for hiring managers
Partner closely with business leaders to anticipate hiring needs
Analyze recruitment needs with Business Managers
Source candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS, referrals, and networking
Screen CVs and conduct structured interviews and competency-based evaluations
Validate technical capabilities and interpersonal skills
Coordinate interview processes with internal stakeholders
Prepare and present candidate profiles for client/project validation
Manage employment offers
Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and integration follow-up
Employer Branding & Talent Pooling
Represent Fortil at job fairs, career events, and university partnerships
Maintain and nurture talent pipelines and candidate communities
Contribute to employer branding initiatives (LinkedIn content, recruitment marketing)
Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the process
Build relationships with future talents and academic institutions
HR & Talent Management
Support onboarding programs and employee integration
Contribute to talent follow-up, performance checkpoints, and retention actions
Participate in internal HR projects (process improvement, tools, reporting)
Ensure compliance with local employment regulations
