As a Procurement Officer on the Antarctic Infrastructure Renewal project, you will assist in procurement and contract activities to support smooth and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsalities:
- Identify synergies between project needs and standardise requirements where possible to optimise sourcing and leverage volume.
- Collation of Request for Quotation and Invitation to Tender packages.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary procurement documentation to ensure smooth and compliant processes.
- Develop detailed tender analyses and define negotiation strategies to support decision-making.
- Participate in technical and commercial discussions with shortlisted suppliers to assess their suitability.
- Assist in negotiations to secure the best commercial and contractual conditions in line with budget constraints.
- Provide clear recommendations to the Production team and management based on analysis and outcomes.
- Prepare, review, and support the finalisation of contracts with selected suppliers.
- Monitor contract execution status.
- Support the definition and tracking of KPIs and maintain up-to-date procurement data and reporting tools.
- Assist in local purchasing activities to meet project needs efficiently.
