The VIE will report directly to the Managing Director.
He/She will work in close collaboration with:
• Business Development Manager
• Sales Coordinator (Sherbrooke)

Position Overview
The purpose of this VIE assignment is to support the development and expansion of Samedia’s business activities in North America, with a strong focus on the United States and English-speaking Canada.
The selected candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, supporting existing clients, and strengthening the company’s market presence in a highly competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across North America
• Prospect and acquire new customers (contractors, distributors, industrial users)
• Support and expand relationships with existing clients and telemarketing distributors
• Participate in commercial negotiations and follow-up on leads

2. Market Analysis
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
• Analyze customer needs and propose adapted commercial strategies
• Provide regular market intelligence reports to headquarters

3. Sales Support & Coordination
• Work closely with the business development manager and the sales coordinator
• Coordinate between local operations and headquarters in Europe
• Assist in pricing strategies, product positioning, and sales campaigns

4. Business Expansion in Canada
• Develop the company’s presence in English-speaking Canada
• Identify and qualify new prospects and distribution channels
• Build a structured pipeline of potential customers

5. Operational & Field Activities
• Travel across the territory to meet clients and prospects
• Organize / Participate in trade shows, demonstrations, and customer visits
• Support product presentations and technical discussions

6. Profile
Education
• Master’s degree (Business, Engineering, International Trade, or similar)
7. Skills & Experience
• Strong interest in international business development
• Commercial mindset with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach
• Ability to work independently and in a structured way
• Analytical skills for market studies and reporting
8. Languages
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
• French is a strong plus

12.Contract Duration & Career Opportunity
the duration of this VIE assignment will be between 18 and 24 months.
At the end of the assignment, and depending on the candidate’s performance and business needs, this position may lead to a permanent contract (CDI) within the organization.
