Description
This position will act as Research Associate within the Analytical Department with the following missions:
o Support testing on either existing products or products under development
o Support the Nutrition Compatibility team in its day-to-day activities, by generating admixture/compatibility data.
o Conduct technical investigations applying analytical techniques like pH, color, visual inspection, particles count, HPLC, UPLC β¦within internal Baxter laboratories.
Role and responsibilities:
- Use current physical, chemical and physicochemical techniques (pH, color, visual inspection, particles count, HPLC, UPLC, β¦) in accordance to GLP and local procedures to obtain stability and compatibility profiles for Nutrition admixture formulations.
- Document results in laboratory notebooks according to established GDP procedures.
- Interpret experimental data and present conclusions to supervisor, project leader and management.
- Create and update equipment and analytical procedures, participate in the ordering of raw materials, analytical material or equipment pieces.
- Ensure the lab is appropriately stocked with supplies to avoid costly delays.
- Maintain laboratory reagents, materials and equipment as directed, including obtaining such items, maintaining materials and equipment in good operating order.
- Provide support for initiatives in technological development, competitive product analysis, market and regulatory affairs questions, industrial troubleshooting, etc.
- Adhere to the quality system requirements and ensure GMP and GDP standards; also adhere to general and specific environmental, health and safety (EHS) guidelines.
