Description

A VIE position for an International Procurement Manager has become available within the Commercial Aircraft division in Brazil. You will be joining the Procurement Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic region of the world, covering the full spectrum of Airbus products and services, including Commercial and Military Aircraft and Helicopters. Given the dynamic development of the LatAm region and its associated business opportunities, strategic supplier management and development are critical to supporting Airbus's footprint in the region. Therefore, under the authority of the HO International Governance & Cooperation, the VIE LatAm International Procurement role has been established to contribute to supply chain development in the region. The main mission involves exploring supply chain capabilities, providing procurement intelligence and assessments, identifying, characterizing, mapping, and evaluating Airbus's current and potential supply chain in the LatAm region, analyzing the competitive landscape, and supporting regional sales campaign activities and events. The role will be based in Sao Paulo (SP) or Itajuba (MG), Brazil, with a functional reporting line to the Head of International Governance & Cooperation (PYG) based in Toulouse-Blagnac.   Tasks & accountabilities Your main tasks will include: Market Intelligence: Screen regional aerospace activities related to Procurement, including analysis of risks and opportunities. Monitor competitor activities and their supply chain strategies. Potential Supplier Scouting: Identify potential LatAm regional aerospace suppliers and collaboration opportunities. This involves mapping their activities, customers, industrial footprint, and partnerships, including participation in B2B events. Database & Reports: Create and update regional Procurement country profiles, monitor Airbus supplier regional volumes, and manage the regional intelligence database for the region. Regional Support: Contribute to regional initiatives and events within the scope of Procurement (e.g., Offsets, campaigns, country visits, Airbus events). Regional Governance Support: Provide assistance for Procurement's regional projects and activities, focusing on business development and governance frameworks. Sourcing support: Support Divisions needs, in terms of sourcing (suppliers visits report, capabilities analysis, etc)
