Your place in the Airbus organization:
You will belong to the Commercial Aircraft Sales department (MC). More concretely, the central Services Credit Management team (MCCSC) is part of the Services Contracts Department (MCCS) and consists of an international team of Credit Managers based in Hamburg (central team) and the various Airbus regional offices (Singapore, Beijing, Miami and soon Dubai). As services credit manager for Latin America you will be based in Miami as part of the local Contracts team, reporting directly to the Head of Contracts Latin America, managed by the Credit Manager in place and functionally to the global Head of Services Credit Management in Hamburg. Mission will start with 3-4 weeks training in Hamburg.
Your main objectives:
The ultimate goal is to ensure that customers pay on time for the aftermarket services rendered by Airbus. In order to do so you will assess the credit risks for your customer portfolio, advise payment securitization mechanisms for new services offers and guide the cash collection process motivating your customers to pay their bills on time. You will be a key contributor to reaching the cash intake objectives of Airbus. You will also be contributing to digitalization projects like automations in SAP and data visualization improvements using corporate approved tools.
Your key interfaces:
The Services Credit Manager is the main interface between a portfolio of external customers and Airbus Customer Services for all aftermarket credit / payment activities. In order to succeed, you will develop and maintain a trustful relationship with your customers and internal stakeholders.
Main external interfaces:
Airbus’ services customers in Latin America: airlines, lessors, MROs and other third party entities (about 80-100 active customers per services credit manager)
Airbus’ credit insurance providers
Main internal interfaces:
Customer Support Directors (CSD) - accompany the customers and provide support related to the operation of Airbus aircraft and the associated services
Services Sales Directors - coordinate the sale of services to customers (spare parts, training, equipment upgrades, flight operations software, digital solutions, consulting, etc.)
Contracts Negotiators - negotiate and document the commercial agreements with customers
GAM leaders (Global Account Management) - coordinate the commercial relationship with each customer
Accounting and Treasury departments - allocate incoming customer payments
Services business units - engineering and delivering the Airbus services
