Within the Group, Iliad Italy plays a key role and operates in a highly dynamic and competitive market. The Data team works in close collaboration with both local and Group-level stakeholders, contributing to an inherently international and cross-entity data environment. Role & Opportunity Within this context, you will join a highly business-driven Data team for 6 to 24 months , where Data Scientists are expected to take ownership early and see the direct impact of their work. You will contribute to the development of concrete, scalable, and production-ready data products, fully integrated into operational processes and business decision-making. Going beyond descriptive analysis, your mission includes building predictive models, automated solutions, and data-driven tools that generate measurable business value. The team values short decision loops, pragmatic solutions, and individual accountability, meaning each member has real impact and visibility. This approach enables fast learning, rapid execution, and meaningful ownership within a growing, purpose-driven organization. What you’ll do : - Collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities. - Design, develop, and validate predictive models and Machine Learning algorithms to address complex business problems (e.g., churn prediction, customer segmentation, network optimization). - Implement solutions in well-structured, tested, and documented Python code, ready for integration into data pipelines or production systems. - Work in MLOps environments, using tools for experiment tracking (e.g., MLflow), model versioning, and deployment in staging and production. - Contribute to the definition of technical and functional requirements for data products, ensuring scalability, reproducibility, and continuous monitoring.
