Position Summary:
To grow its U.S. subsidiary, βWatt & Well USA, Inc.,β located in Houston, Texas, Watt & Well is seeking an engineer to help grow the business. The subsidiaryβs mission is to represent its parent company commercially by providing technical support, helping clients integrate our equipment into their systems and assisting them when they encounter technical difficulties with their systems.
Watt and Well USA is also launching consulting. The consulting mission will consist of helping clients with our expertise to develop innovative solutions. Usually, the period for these missions is short (3 to 6 months). As a firmware engineer, you will play a key role by architecting, designing, implementing, and validating firmware used in electronics that we will develop.
What You'll Do:
β Analyze system requirements and develop a solid understanding of existing product designs and architectures.
β Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for electronic control and monitoring systems.
β Support software development activities during R&D phases, from concept through validation and product support.
β Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers to integrate software with hardware platforms.
β Participate in debugging, validation, and troubleshooting of embedded systems in laboratory and field environments.
β Support failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for customer tools and internal electronics.
β Contribute to software documentation, technical reports, and design records.
β Provide technical support during client visits and occasionally act as a technical representative of the company.
β Support on-site activities for client applications, primarily in the Oil & Gas sector.
β Development of software tools, interfaces, or web-based applications related to product operation, diagnostics, or data handling.
