CONTEXT We are currently searching for Junior Transversal Market Analyst in S&EM Italy, based in Rome. YOUR MISSION Under the supervision of the Gas&Power Market Analyst, you will have to do the following tasks: • understanding forward and spot commodity markets (with a special focus on the power), supporting the team in performing routine and ad-hoc analysis; • understanding internal risk management best practices and the related modeling framework, helping the team to evaluate derivative products related to the commodity market; • implementing and maintaining analysis tools and dashboards in order to facilitate the exploitation of meaningful insights from the gathered data; • developing and maintaining automated workflows designed to reduce the manual operations, improving the efficiency through coding and integration with the internal systems; • collaborating also with the S&EM IS team on the data quality monitoring and contributing to the S&EM overall digital transformation.
