The technical center in Pune is the biggest engineering center in Asia for the Exterior & Lighting Business Group. We are developing here brand-new products for premium customers. As part of the technical center, you will be working among international teams of engineers specializing in product & manufacturing development processes from both Exterior & Lighting BG.
The role involves designing, implementing and evaluating learning initiatives that enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth while aligning with organizational goals.
Your main tasks will be to:
Participating in site human resources activities through management of competencies and training for the site.
IATF training KPIs, ITC training KPIs, (% completion, training assessment, average number of training hours per person, number of people who did not receive any training within last 2 years, training efficiency)
Training plans need analysis, designing & implementation for Offshoring Department – extended arm for Exterior Business Line.
Meeting managers to consolidate training needs from departments considering:
- Annual assessment reviews
- Development reviews
- Customer requirements
- Standard training path per position
- Division and country guidelines
- Partner with external vendors
Making arbitration to ensure consolidated needs match of objectives in terms of number of hours and budget.
Ensuring proper scheduling of the training sessions
Following up the training budget (cost and hours) and alert in case of any deviation, source possible subsidies. Follow up training indicators and make all mandatory reporting: legal, Division (Enablon), Corporate
Implementing the training plan, monitor, and evaluate the quality of each action, its relevance and impact according to Division assessment procedures using Division/Corporate tools such as LMS
Working closely with Metier’s from various departments on skill matrix
Track effectiveness of programs using feedback, assessments, and KPIs
Proposing the best solutions according to training needs (internal/external training, choice of trainers, teaching methods…)
Sourcing, selecting and evaluating external training companies
Participating in the development of internal training modules and prepare internal trainers (train the trainer sessions)
Acting as a MLP key user (My Learning Place): train users (managers, HR, …) on MLP features, especially training plan management, maintain data accuracy and reliability, liaise with central MLP support
Keep training tracking and any required evidence according to Audit, customer requirements and division procedures in required systems
Participating actively in the BG “training leaders” network
