The selected candidate will have a unique opportunity to join Firalis’ U.S. business unit in Boston, a global epicenter of biotech innovation, and play a pivotal role in expanding our CDMO operations across North America. The ideal candidate will bridge scientific expertise with strategic business development, leveraging deep knowledge of diagnostic kit development, clinical validation, and regulatory pathways (IVDR/FDA) to drive complex CDMO programs. They will champion our end-to-end CDMO solutions, from reagent internalization (magnetic beads, antibodies, recombinant proteins) to scalable manufacturing, while promoting our integrated portfolio of diagnostic development, biomarker validation, and operational optimization services.
A key ambassador for Firalis, the candidate will strengthen our presence through high-impact networking at industry events across Boston and North America, positioning the company as a trusted partner for precision diagnostics and large-scale CDMO projects. V.I.E Missions
• Grow Firalis’ CDMO business by engaging pharma, biotech, and diagnostic clients, leveraging strategic insights to drive revenue and partnerships.
• Expand the customer base through targeted outreach, roadshows, and conference participation (e.g., BIO, AACC, ASCO), positioning Firalis as a leader in IVDR/FDA-compliant diagnostic development and manufacturing.
• Provide consultative guidance, aligning Firalis’ end-to-end CDMO solutions—from reagent sourcing to scalable production—with client R&D and commercialization goals.
• Represent Firalis at industry events, showcasing expertise in precision diagnostics, biomarker-driven CDMO, and operational excellence.
• Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure, collaborating with technical and regulatory teams to deliver tailored CDMO programs.
Minimum Requirements
• Master’s degree in life sciences, molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, or related field; expertise in assay development, clinical validation, and IVDR/FDA pathways.
• Commercial experience in CDMO, diagnostics, or -omics, with a proven track record in pharma/biotech sales or business development.
• Fluent English (written/spoken); additional languages a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and strategic skills, with the ability to work autonomously in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international trips to Firalis’ headquarters in France.
