Investment Associate (H/F)

Our company Fedrus International is in the transition to change from a vertically integrated industrial group to a family-backed evergreen investment fund/holding. We will be focusing on supporting successful companies through sustainable growth (e.g. currently the legacy business VM Building Solutions, APOK, Heli and Plastivan). Through our newly founded vehicle, Fedrus Growth Capital, we invest in ambitious entrepreneurs and game changing technologies or business concepts (e.g. Aerobel, Bullswap and simAbs). In this new capacity, the new position of Investment Associate is created at the holding. The investment associate will support the senior holding team members in identifying, evaluating and executing investment opportunities to generate risk-adjusted returns for the holding. Act as a key analytical resource, ensuring rigorous due diligence and data-driven recommendations while contributing to the overall deal flow and portfolio management process. Your missions: • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and build detailed valuation models (DCF, LBO, comparable company/transaction analysis). • Perform market research, industry benchmarking, and competitive landscaping to identify trends and investment risks/opportunities. • Support due diligence processes (financial, commercial, operational, legal, ESG) on prospective investments. • Prepare investment memoranda, pitch books, and presentations for internal Investment Committee and external stakeholders. • Monitor portfolio company performance: track KPIs, analyze quarterly reports, and support value-creation initiatives. • Assist in deal structuring, term sheet negotiation, and coordination with legal, tax, and financing advisors. • Maintain CRM/database of pipeline opportunities and update investor reporting materials. • Prepare periodic investment and performance reporting.
