A Manufacturing Engineer
Within the Power Generation BU, you will provide strong manufacturing and technical support to our manufacturing engineering department in charge of low, medium and high voltage alternators manufacturing equipment. This market is a fast growing sector worldwide, looking for automation and new development in the windings activity of low and high voltage generators and requires strong technical expertise.
You will join our subsidiary for a 12 month VIE contract.
After having familiarized yourself with the manufacturing process of our generator, you will be responsible for :
• Participate in the design and development of our new manufacturing equipment (winding, stacking, assembly, lifting)
• Participate in the development of new automation solution with our suppliers
• Attend and validate the testing of new equipment in our supplier factories (in Europe or in China)
• Justify the financial performance (ROI) within our internal validation process
• Participate to the establishment of new workflow in our existing factory
• Serve as a technical liaison between the Chinese site and the manufacturing engineering teams at headquarters and particularly support the transfer of new automation project
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to problem-solving and continuous improvement project
• Provide technical support for suppliers and manage process validation activities
• Supporting internal departments by preparing technical documentation, drawings, and manufacturing specification.
