Beiersdorf NV — home to around 100 dedicated employees — is looking for a Financial Controller Benelux to join our team. This VIE contract is offering a opportunity to contribute to a high-performing finance team and gain valuable experience in a multinational setting.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in steering financial operations across the Netherlands and Belgium - ensuring compliance, driving insights, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Your tasks
General Expenses / OPEX steering
• Challenge budgets, analyze spend, and identify risks & opportunities
• Provide budget insights to budget holders to allow efficient forecasting and year end steering
• Steer the proper cost allocation to enable spend insights
• Evaluate purchase orders and guide final budget spend
• Improve processes and tools to drive efficiency and profitability
Intercompany Transactions
• Manage cost splits and intercompany charges across affiliates
• Ensure transparency in transactions with global Beiersdorf entities
P&L and Balance Sheet steering
• Play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate month closing through planning proper accruals
• Work closely together with HR teams to understand the payroll processes and steer the monthly spend in the P&L and open Balance Sheet positions
Culture & Collaboration
• Be a role model for our values and behaviors
• Strong collaboration with the local Benelux and MU (France Benelux) Financial and Commercial Controlling teams
• Virtual collaboration with the Financial Accounting teams located in the Shared Service center in our Headquarter in Hamburg
• Drive alignment and synergies across countries and functions
Projects & Tools
• Participate in local and global finance projects
• Promote Power BI usage and participate in regional initiatives
• Contribution to continuous improvement
