Description
As Junior Paint Process Engineer in our site in Puebla, Mexico, you will join a multicultural project team. Your main missions will be:
1. Participation in GOLF Project development as Paint Process Engineer
Contribute to the full paint process development within the GOLF Project, ensuring alignment with project milestones and technical requirements.
Coordinate closely with the Paint Engineering Team to plan and execute improvement trials, validate process parameters, and support industrialization activities.
Conduct Quality assessments focusing on color, appearance, and surface finish, working jointly with plant teams to secure color convergence and appearance matching across different production sites.
2. Support liaison with the métier to ensure Golden Rules compliance
Act as the interface between the project team and the central métier (Paint Process Expertise), ensuring that all process “Golden Rules” are correctly interpreted, applied, and embedded in the development phases.
Facilitate technical exchanges, document compliance status, and raise alerts when deviations or risks to process robustness are identified.
Support audits, design reviews, and process validations linked to métier standards.
3. Lead the development of a back‑up Paint Supplier for OP Puebla
Pilot the qualification of an alternative paint supplier to secure supply chain continuity for the OP Puebla plant.
Coordinate technical evaluations, material testing, line trials, and compatibility checks to confirm the supplier’s ability to meet performance, quality, and durability requirements.
Drive cross-functional collaboration between Purchasing, Quality, R&D, and the supplier to ensure timelines, specifications, and validation criteria are fully met.
4. Support OPTIMAP KEOPS Assessment (Nationwide) to ensure 100% MBOM and reporting compliance
Participate in the nationwide OPTIMAP KEOPS assessment campaigns to verify the accuracy and completeness of Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) across all sites.
Ensure that all paint-related MBOM elements are correctly structured, standardized, and synchronized with engineering and manufacturing data systems.
Produce and validate standardized reports, ensuring full compliance with group procedures and data governance guidelines.
