As a Junior MRO Buyer, you will be working within our plant in Greer, South Carolina. You will be part of an international team to follow-up on the plant’s missions and objectives.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities/activities associated with this position?
Leading cost savings projects, budget planning support, supplier relationship management, plant relationship management, supplier development, contract management, driving request for quote projects, purchase to pay processes, supplier portal management, strategic buying, understanding plant needs and improving spend and efficiencies within the purchase to pay process.
What are the expected contributions and KPIs of the role?
Meeting KPI targets (savings, purchase to pay process, budget analysis and improvements), driving cost savings projects from start to implementation (project management), improving cash flow with reduction of accruals (tied up cash), interpret contract agreements with suppliers, improving how we buy with commodities to support supplier consolidation, capable to investigate price increases and negotiate.
