Description

The Permanent Improvement Programmes (PIP) team, based in Brussels, offers internal consulting services as part of the Eurofins Group. The team’s primary mission is to define, govern and implement programmes to ensure harmonisation, standardisation and optimisation of Eurofins companies’ operations. The Eurofins Group is looking for new talent to join their driven and diverse team of consultants. As a highly motivated and entrepreneurial candidate who is keen to embrace a new challenge and contribute to the global strategy of a fast-growing network, this could be your next role! The PIP team is led by an international group of supervisors who work closely with top management. As a network of companies that values entrepreneurship, passion and curiosity, you will build relationships that could lead to global opportunities in the Group. You will be assigned to multiple projects in the department’s scope, and support our Internal Consultants by independently running several activities, with a clear and defined scope. As a Project Manager that contributes to key objectives of the team, you will: Define and support standardisation of key concepts and processes across the Eurofins network. Outline and develop standard laboratory processes for specific applications. Develop methodologies and standards for performance- and cost-management processes. Some exciting projects the PIP team has overseen: Conduct cost analyses to identify and correct low margin services – With financial and operation data obtained from the laboratory, the PIP team modelled how P&L costs are absorbed by each test. This enabled detailed portfolio profitability analysis, leading to targeted pricing adjustments and the identification of improvement project. Work on longer-term initiatives such as the global roll-out of new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – By working closely with laboratory managers to restructure cost and revenue accounting, they helped identify cost-saving opportunities using internal benchmarks and standardised project work breakdown structures. Productivity benchmarking – In collaboration with laboratory managers, the PIP team gathered and standardised operational data to benchmark productivity across laboratories. Through in-depth analysis, they uncovered root causes behind performance differences between comparable teams and departments.
