Beck & Pollitzer generates revenues of over £170 millions and is privately owned and currently backed by Graphite Capital, a leading London-based private equity investor.   Purpose of the Position The AI Solutions & Automation Specialist will act as the Group’s internal AI expert, responsible for designing, developing, and scaling practical AI-driven solutions that streamline administrative and operational processes, and enhance data-driven decision-making. The role will combine hands-on technical delivery with coordination and enablement responsibilities, working closely with a distributed network of AI-focused employees across the Group to identify, prioritise, and implement high-value AI use cases. Key Responsibilities • AI Ecosystem & Technology Selection o Lead the evaluation and selection of AI platforms, tools, and external providers (including LLMs, automation platforms, analytics tools, and development frameworks). o Design and help implement a secure and compliant AI development environment aligned with IT, cybersecurity, and data protection requirements. o Ensure solutions comply with relevant UK, EU, and client-specific data protection and confidentiality standards. • AI Strategy & Use Case Development o Identify, assess, and prioritise AI use cases across corporate and operational functions (e.g. finance, HR, operations, project delivery, commercial, and executive reporting). o Translate business problems into clear AI solution designs, with a strong focus on measurable efficiency, quality, and decision-support outcomes. o Support the Group Head of IT and executive leadership in shaping a pragmatic and scalable AI roadmap aligned with Beck & Pollitzer’s operational realities. • AI Agent & Application Development o Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automation solutions to streamline administrative workflows, reporting processes, and knowledge management. o Develop AI-driven analytics and decision-support tools that leverage internal company data (structured and unstructured) to support management insight and operational control. o Ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and appropriately documented for enterprise use. • Data Analysis & Decision Support o Work with business stakeholders to define relevant datasets, KPIs, and analytical models. o Develop AI-enabled tools to analyse project, financial, operational, and performance data to support executive and management decision-making. o Promote best practices in data quality, data governance, and responsible AI usage. • Community Leadership & Enablement o Act as technical lead for a cross-functional AI community of 6–10 employees across different countries and functions. o Facilitate workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and hands-on collaboration to develop AI capabilities and use cases across the Group. o Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality assurance for AI initiatives developed by the wider AI community. • Governance & Risk Management o Contribute to the definition of internal AI governance frameworks, usage guidelines, and risk controls. o Ensure AI solutions are developed and deployed responsibly, with appropriate controls around data usage, security, explainability, and auditability.
