We are looking for a motivated Technology Support Specialist to join the Scientific and in Vivo Strategies (SIS) team at Johnson & Johnson Beerse, Belgium, where you will help advance key information technology (IT) process‑optimization initiatives that support the global SIS Business Operations strategy. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to meaningful improvements that enable scientific, operational, and digital excellence across the organization. This two‑year V.I.E. placement at our Johnson & Johnson Campus in Beerse, Belgium offers a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where you will gain hands‑on experience in the real‑world application of information systems, digital tools, and process optimization. RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, you will collaborate with experienced mentors and collaborate across functional teams to advance the global IVS Business Operations strategy. Key responsibilities include: • Contribute to high-visibility projects that support the Scientific and In Vivo Strategies (SIS) Global Business Operations strategy. • Contribute to IT systems optimization project by supporting team assessments, preparing intake forms, and creating process maps. • Analyze user feedback and provide recommendations to improve existing software tools, digital workflows, and process efficiencies. • Identify opportunities where Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, data lakes, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and other emerging technologies can enhance IVS digital workflows, operational efficiency, and collaboration across teams. • Perform security and compliance reviews alongside the team for various applications to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory standards. • Review project status, timelines, risks, and IT application priorities to support informed decision‑making. • Create documentation such as digital workflow diagrams, process maps, and operational flowcharts. • Prepare monthly project briefs summarizing progress, updates, and insights for leadership. • Maintain and update application summaries to ensure information accuracy and readiness for review. • Assist in coordinating and executing feasibility pilots that involve innovative technologies for enhancing paperless vivarium processes. • Assess existing digital programs, evaluate technical specifications, review proposed enhancements, and develop recommendations for improvement. • Participate in customer engagement activities, product definition discussions, development of success metrics, and workstream refinement. • Prepare clear end‑user reference materials, including detailed operating guidelines and instructional documentation.
