MCA Process designs and delivers automated handling systems for the food industry, with a strong focus on sterilized products (pet food, ready meals, baby food, etc.) and the meat industry.
Headquartered in Quimper (France), MCA Process installs automated equipment worldwide and supports major international food manufacturers across the globe.
As part of our international development, we are strengthening our technical support capabilities in the United States and, more broadly, across the Americas through our Atlanta office.
Position:
After an initial technical training period at our headquarters in Quimper, you will join our US support office in Atlanta, GA.
You will support our installed equipment base across North and South America, working closely with both our French engineering/support teams and our international customers.
This position combines automation troubleshooting, field interventions and commissioning of new automated process lines.
The role requires significant travel across the Americas (50%+).
Missions:
1. Technical support (remote)
o Provide remote technical support for MCA Process equipment installed at customer sites across the Americas
o Diagnose technical issues related to automation, electrical systems or mechanical equipment
o Support customers in troubleshooting and restoring production quickly
o Work closely with our engineering teams in France when deeper technical analysis is required
2. On-site interventions
o Travel to customer sites to perform technical troubleshooting and system optimization
o Support customers during critical production phases
o Participate in preventive maintenance and system improvements
3. Installation & commissioning
o Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
o Work on-site with MCA Process project teams and customer technical teams
o Contribute to system testing, adjustments and performance validation
4. Technical feedback & improvement
o Provide field feedback to our HQ teams to improve system reliability
o Contribute to internal documentation and support procedures
Profile:
1. Education
Engineering or technical degree in:
o Automation engineering
o Electromechanics
o Electrical engineering
o Industrial maintenance or similar
2. Technical skills
o Knowledge of industrial automation and electrical systems
o Ability to troubleshoot automated industrial equipment
o Interest in both automation and mechanical systems
o Hands-on and field-oriented mindset
3. Languages
o Fluent English required
o Spanish is a strong advantage
