Description
As part of the Hutchinson procurement team, you will manage the Indirect Spend (Non-Production) for the production site. Your mission is to guarantee the supply of goods and services while optimizing costs and ensuring compliance with the automotive industry’s high standards. You will be a key partner for the Plant Manager and technical department heads.Sourcing & Strategy: Lead local sourcing for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), packaging, energy, and facilities management
CAPEX Support: Assist in the procurement of industrial machinery and tooling for new automotive programs
Supplier Panel Management: Rationalize the local supplier base and ensure they meet Hutchinson’s HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) requirements
Negotiation & Contract Law: Negotiate price, payment terms, and warranty conditions. Adapt contracts to local specificities (Mexican labor laws for services or US liability standards)
Operational Excellence: Use ERP to manage purchase orders and track "Purchasing Performance" (P&L impact)
Process Standardization: Implement Hutchinson Group procurement policies at the local site level
