Description
The DEF network is recruiting a Financial Controller at Delta Erre Safe (DRS), based in Verona (Italy). Within the DEF network, DRS is specialized in the design, industrialization and manufacture of fire&gas detection products as power supply certified EN54, gas and heat detector and control panel for gas detection certified ATEX and SIL2.
Job Description:
1. Financial Controlling & Reporting
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast).
• Contribute to the preparation of dashboards, KPIs, and financial presentations.
• Monitor key cost drivers and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting cycles.
2. Accounting Support & Data Accuracy
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure data accuracy and coherence.
• Perform reconciliations and consistency checks on key accounts.
• Ensure proper classification of expenses and revenues for analytical purposes.
• Assist in closing activities when required.
3. ERP & Management Tools
• Use the company’s ERP (MAGO) to extract, analyze, and consolidate financial data.
• Support the optimization of controlling workflows within the ERP.
• Contribute in prepare the upcoming ERP change (IFS)
4. Business Partnering
• Work closely with operational departments (sales, logistics, operations, procurement).
• Provide financial insights to help improve performance.
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis requested by management.
5. Administrative & Compliance Tasks
• Support finance documentation, filing, and administrative procedures.
• Assist in internal control activities and audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
